Summer Baseball Camp

KAU Stony Marston Complex

June 22 - 25 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

$150 per athlete: ages 7-13

Instructors: Marty Sessa, Josh Hampton: Marty and Josh both played college ball and still continue to play in the area. They have conducted individual instruction in the KAU Shed as well as local baseball academies.

Along with other college and professional players from the area, they will cover all aspects of the game of baseball. Instruction will be specifically tailored to different skill levels and age groups in hitting, pitching, fielding, base running, strategy and the mental aspects of the game.

Athletes also will receive instruction by position to enhance their skills and mechanics while working one on one with instructors throughout the day.

For 12- and 13-year-olds, sessions will be held to help make the transition to 90-foot baseball.

Daily schedule:

  • 9:00-9:15 Athletes arrive and check in with Instructors, who will provide an overview of the daily agenda and expectations for the day.
  • 9:15-11:30 Morning Session
  • 11:30-12:30 Lunch: Athletes bring their own lunch and water bottle or sports drink.
  • 12:30-3:00 Afternoon Session

Group games and competitions will allow the athletes work on necessary skill development and technique, while still concentrating on the most import aspect of the game: having fun!

At the end of the 4 days, camper athletes will have developed a better understanding of the game and increased skill level. This is achieved through top instruction in a relaxing, fun way.

Marty and Josh are available for individual and group instruction before or after the camp.
